BIG clean up 9INE to secure semifinal spot
The opening match of the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2023 Europe was the quarter-final between BIG and 9INE, with the series starting on BIG's pick of Ancient.
It was a strong T side from BIG as they took a 11-4 lead at the break and BIG just dropped two rounds on the CT side as they secured their pick of Ancient at 16-6 to take an early lead in the series.
The second map was 9INE's go-to map of Vertigo with BIG starting on the CT side. It was a 4-0 start from the Poles on the T side but it was BIG who bounced back to take a 9-6 lead at the end of the half.
It was a strong defence from BIG as they managed to take down 9INE 16-10 to secure the series 2-0 and book their semifinals spot.
BIG now awaits the winner of the ENCE - Alliance game as they look to book their BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023 spot.
