Ye and Counter-Strike: An unthinkable match

In one of the more bizarre stories to come out this week, a report by Dust2.dk revealed that Ye (the artist formerly known as Kanye West) has a special and unique connection with Counter-Strike.

In the artists' album 'The Life of Pablo' which was released in 2016, in the song 'Ultralight Beam' one can find a Counter-Strike reference.

As reported by a user on the music forum KanyeToThe, around the 1 minute 50 second mark in the Ultralight Beam song, listeners can hear the same sound effect which takes place when a flashbang is thrown in the game, in the song as well, albeit very faintly.
