SeeK: "It doesn't matter who our opponents are, when we're in the server, we play with confidence"

ROG Academy secures Rise of Legion Kolkata Grand Final spot

After taking down Team NPC in the first semi-final of Rise of Legion Kolkata, ROG Academy's SeeK had a small chat with Dust2 India.

You guys started with a 3-0 lead on the T side, but NPC managed to comeback 7-5, before switching sides, what was the half-time talk?

From what we had prepared for our T side we weren't too concerned. We managed to pull back 5 rounds, a couple of rounds were 50-50 but we knew 5 rounds were enough for us on the T side and we knew we could get the job done on the CT side. Once we switched sides, we knew we couldn't drop any rounds and after taking the pistol, we built on that, we picked up the first full gun round and even though they managed two back-to-back rounds, we were confident to close it out.

You guys managed a couple (2) man disadvantage clutches, what were the team comms during those situations ?

Our team comms were very calm and normal. (For my clutch) the info given to me was adequate, I knew one was B short and the other was close on site. Once I made contact with the B short player, I knew he was pillar, hence I smoked and swung from the right so that he would be focused on the smoke only. It was easy to take him down then.

This is your team's first CS2 LAN event, first stage match for CS2, did you guys have any nerves?

Not really, our coach also (BadmaN) also told us, on LAN just play with confidence. That's what we did, we play with confidence, it doesn't matter who our opponents are, when we're in the server, we play with confidence.
