Gods Reign secures Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 LAN spot

The Grand Final of the Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 India Qualifier saw Gods Reign take on Revenant as both teams were battling it out to book their spot in the main LAN event by winning the India Qualifier.

Gods Reign's pick of Ancient got things underway as they started with a 7-5 CT side lead. With Ph1NNN, Crazy_Gamer and CycloneF having a strong map, Gods Reign closed out Ancient at 13-9 to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Revenant's pick of Mirage was the second map of the series as Bhavi and co. started with a 7-5 lead on their T side. Revenant dropped just one round in the second half as a collective team effort saw them keep the series alive after winning Mirage 13-8.

Anubis was the series decider as Gods Reign's CT side got off to a strong start at 7-5. It was Ph1NNN leading the charge once again as Gods Reign were clinical on their T side, securing the map at 13-6 to take the series 2-1.

With the win, Gods Reign have booked their place in the Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 LAN event, but when or where the event will take place is not known at the time after it was earlier announced today that the LAN event has been 'indefinitely postponed'.
