Gh0sTTTT powers TR to a 2-0 over Marcos Gaming

The BO2 kicked off with Marcos Gaming getting 3 bans, while True Rippers picked Ancient, leaving Overpass as the decider. Gh0sTTT gave Marcos a blazing 6-0 start while racking up 12 personal kills without a single death. As the half progressed, Marcos had to fight for rounds, managing only 3 till halftime.

In the second half, however, Marcos secured the pistol round comfortably, going on to close TR's lead to 9-6. A quick-paced B attack netted TR the breakthrough, as they furthered their lead to 12-6. With backs against the wall, Marcos Gaming fought back, winning 3 rounds in sequence. However, DiceDealer sealed the deal after taking out ELV1S in a 1v1 to close out the map with a 13-9 score.

Starting on their chosen CT side on the decider map Overpass, True Rippers notched the pistol round but came tumbling down in the subsequent force buy. Capitalizing on the breakthrough, Marcos strung three rounds in a row, taking the lead at 3-1. While TR stayed resilient throughout the half, Marcos scored the final two rounds of the half to take a halftime lead of 7-5.

The map entered a back-and-forth sequence, but when the dust settled, Marcos came forth with an 11-9 lead, on the back of heroic B holds from ELV1S and Bhavi in tandem. However, a slip-up against Tec-9s gave away the momentum to TR. As a result, they strung together 3 rounds, reaching match point first at 12-11.

Marcos Gaming held onto their nerves and pushed the game to OT. The match stayed neck to neck in the overtime as well, but a narrowly missed AWP shot against the final opponent in a valiant 1v4 caused Marcos to lose the game with a 14-16 score.
