2ez Gaming pips L.O.T Gaming to win Upthrust Gaming Fest Season 5

The Upthrust Gaming Fest Season 5 Grand Final saw L.O.T Gaming go up against 2ez Gaming, who recently ascended to the number 1 ranked team in India. The Grand Final veto saw 2ez pick Nuke with L.O.T going to Vertigo and Overpass was left as decider.

Nuke started with 2ez going 8-4 up before L.O.T pulled it back in the second half to take the map to overtime. 2ez hung on in overtime with Recoilmaster and iFRAGEZ powering up to give 2ez Gaming to a 16-12 win and take the early advantage in the Grand Final.

Vertigo was a one-sided affair as it was the ManuM and tsukizy show which saw L.O.T bounce back strong with a 13-6 win to keep the series alive.

On Overpass, which was the decider, neither team were willing to give an inch and it took all 24 rounds of regulation and it was bb1 and iFRAGEZ with 23 and 21 kills respectively to deny L.O.T a comeback chance as 2ez Gaming hung on for a 13-11 win to take the series 2-1 and win the Grand Final.

The win sees 2ez Gaming take home a prize money of INR 30,000 while L.O.T Gaming takes home INR 20,000. Legacy Esports, who took down Re-wonation in the third place decider takes home a prize money of INR 10,000 .
