Techno's openers were a big problem for MAG on their T side

The Mongolz kick off the Asia RMR in style

MAG handed a big defeat

The PGL CS2 Copenhagen Major 2024 Asia RMR kicked off as The Mongolz took on Myth Avenue Gaming (MAG) with the BO1 taking place on Ancient. The Mongolz went in as clear favourites but the result highlighted a stark contrast of skill level between the two teams.

The Mongolz started with the CT pistol and Techno's openers along with 910's AWP causing all sorts of trouble for MAG saw The Mongolz ease their way to an 11-0 lead. In the final round of the opening half, a crucial WasteOfAmmo opener coupled with ariucle's double closer saw MAG deny The Mongolz a flawless CT side.

aruicle came in with another multi-kill in the second half pistol but unfortunately it was too late as The Mongolz won out the second pistol as well to time and wrapped up the match at 13-4.

The win sees The Mongolz book their place in the Upper Bracket semi-final and will play later on today taking on the winner of the Grayhound - ATOX game.
