ATOX run through Myth Avenue Gaming
The lower bracket games of the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Asia RMR kicked off with Myth Avenue Gaming (MAG) facing ATOX in the BO3 match. Ancient was the series opener, with ATOX picking Nuke and Overpass was left as the decider.
A WasteOfAmmo quad kill saw MAG start with the T sided pistol but ATOX answered back with force buy and went 7-1 up to win out the half. After a 9-3 half for ATOX, MAG answered back with the second pistol and put up a comeback attempt but it was dobu and AccuracyTG on the Big Green which helped ATOX close out the map at 13-9.
ATOX started Nuke with the pistol on their offensive side. It was the Zesta show to start Nuke and a 1v2 in the sixth round from him saw ATOX go 6-0 up. Following a 7-0 start, it took a 1v2 from Derek on the upper bomb site which helped MAG get on board on their CT half. It was ATOX though taking a massive 9-3 lead before dobu's triple saw them pick up both pistol's on Nuke which saw them waltz to a 13-3 win.
The win sees ATOX back in action later on today against TYLOO to keep their RMR hopes alive while MAG head home, becoming the first team to be eliminated from the Asia RMR.
