Esports World Cup 2024 Asia Closed Qualifier: Preview

With the Asian open qualifier running it's course, the Asian closed qualifier for the Esports World Cup 2024 is set to commence today with four teams locking horns in a double-elimination bracket.

TYLOO and Rare Atom have cleared the open qualifier, joining two invited teams - TheMongolz and Lynn Vision in the closed qualifier. The closed qualifier will run games in a Bo3 right from the start. TheMongolz take on Rare Atom and Lynn Vision lock horns with TYLOO in the opening round.

The winner of the closed qualifier will secure a slot at the Esports World Cup 2024 alongside top teams such as FaZe, NAVI, MOUZ, Spirit, G2, Vitality, Virtus.pro, Complexity and FURIA among others. The Esports World Cup 2024 is set to take place in July 2024.

The main event will feature a total of 15 teams battling it out in single-elimination brackets across three phases - Opening Stage, Last Chance and Playoffs. The Esports World Cup 2024 will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
