Eternal Fire sent home; G2 survive Falcons test
As we reached the penultimate day of the ESL Pro League Season 19 Group A and B matches, we had a couple of teams heading home while a couple survived to fight for another day.
Virtus.pro (VP) were up against fnatic in the opening game of the day which was the Group A elimination game. VP pushed fnatic to overtime on the series opener on Vertigo to steal a 16-14 win before picking up a comfortable 13-6 win on their pick of Anubis to send fnatic home and keep themselves alive.

G2 were battling for survival against the new-look Falcons with dupreeh and Falcons started the series with an overtime 16-13 win on Vertigo. NiKo stepped up to help G2 answer back on Anubis with a 13-3 before closing out the series with a 13-5 win on Nuke to send Snappi and co. home.

Astralis and 3DMAX, both of whom had already booked their place in the Playoffs, took on each other in the Group A upper bracket final with a direct spot in the quarter-final up for grabs. The device and jabbi show saw the Danes ease to a 13-7 win on Inferno and a 13-3 win on their pick of Ancient as they secured a quarter-final place.
