Aurora secures ESL Challenger Melbourne Final berth over Rebels

Aurora to face MIBR in Final

In the second semi-final of ESL Challenger Melbourne, Aurora locked horns with Rebels. The BO3 kickstarted with Mirage, where the choosing team Aurora started on the T-side. Despite ending the first half trailing 5-7, Aurora turned the tables on Rebels in the second half, clinching a 13-9 win.

Next up was Ancient, where Aurora started on the CT side with a 10-2 lead. Despite the Rebels' resistance in the second half, Aurora prevailed, ultimately securing the map with a 13-6 victory.

Aurora will now face MIBR in the Grand Final of ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024, which will take place later today, with Aurora looking to make it three back-to-back championships after winning the Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 and Skyesports Masters 2024.
