Chinggis Warriors pull off an upset win against OG
The lower bracket run for OG started off on their map pick of Dust2. After losing the initial two rounds in the first half, MoDo stepped up to give his side a massive boost on the T-side, as his 110 ADR helped OG secure an 8-4 lead. In the following half, OG conceded only a single round, to seal the map with a 13-5 win.
The second map Ancient saw an exact replica of the first map, with the only difference being a switch in the sides. With Chinggis Warriors starting on the T-side this time, it was their turn to notch 8 rounds. Following in the footsteps of OG, they secured their map pick with a 13-5 win.
The final map Anubis saw an anticlimatic end to the series, as Chinggis Warriors didn’t falter in a single round on the CT side, establishing a flawless 12-0 half. While OG rebelled by strigning together 4 rounds, Chinggis Warriors ultimately closed out the map with a 13-4 win off a tec-9 round win.
