Skyesports Championship: India open qualifier begins today

4 Teams advance to playoffs

The 10-days registration window closes today, kicking off the first phase of the Indian open qualifier for the Skyesports Championship 2024.A host of Indian teams such as Gods Reign, True Rippers, Carnival Gaming, Marcos Gaming, Victores Sumus and more will be battling it out through the qualifiers as they aim to lock in a main event slot for the $200,000 LAN event, taking place in July 2024.

The Indian open qualifier will host an unlimited single-elimination bracket with matches taking a bo1 setting early on. Towards the end, the Ro8 (Quarter-final) switches to bo3s since these games serve as the qualification matches. The top 4 teams advance to the Indian closed qualifier.

The playoffs takes place between 27th and 29th June 2024 accommodating top four teams from the open qualifier in a double-elimination bo3 bracket. The winner gets a Skyesports Championship 2024 slot.

Over the past month TheMongolz, Eternal Fire, FURIA, BetBoom and Revenant were announced as the invitees for the main event with Aurora bagging their Championship slot by winning out Skyesports Masters 2024 and 3DMAX clearing the European closed qualifier.
