FlyQuest start EWC with a loss

Australians drop the ball against FaZe

FlyQuest went up against FaZe in their Esports World Cup 2024 campaign opener as the Aussies were looking to catch FaZe off guard, early on in the event.

A dominant 8-4 half from FlyQuest on Anubis, on their CT side saw the Australians put up the possibility of an upset but FaZe with the force buy win after losing the pistol, finally got going. FlyQuest saw off two map points to take the map to overtime but it was all FaZe as they hung on for a 16-13 win. Nuke was a back-and-forth affair as FaZe started with a six round T side before wrapping things up at 13-11 to lock in a 2-0 series win.

FlyQuest join The MongolZ in the Last Chance Stage, where JiJieHao await the losing teams from the opening round of games.
