New schedule for Skyesports Championship 2024 out
Following a disastrous opening day at the Skyesports Championship 2024, which saw only one game take place out of the scheduled 10 due to electricity and internet issues at the venue Taj Lands End, the updated schedule for the $300,000 tournament has been revealed. The schedule has been tweaked following BetBoom's withdrawal from the event which now means there are 11 teams in the tournament instead of the initial 12.
The remaining nine games which were scheduled for the opening day will take place on the second day, July 24, 2024 starting from 13:00 IST. There will be 9 BO1s taking place with two games running simultaneously apart from the final round, which will have only one game. Eternal Fire and Revenant, who were playing the second game of the opening day, will kick things off today after their game couldn't make it past seven rounds yesterday.
Indian team True Rippers who came agonisingly close to taking down The MongolZ are set to face BLEED at 19:00 IST. The remainder of the schedule has 7 BO1s lined up for July 25, 2024, with BetBoom's games removed from the schedule and due to the delay on the opening day, the third day of the Group Stage, which was initially supposed to be held on July 25, 2024 will now take place on July 26, 2024, which was initially an off-day between the Group Stage and Playoffs.
