BO1s removed from IEM Cologne 2024
BO1s switched to BO3 series
ESL has announced that the BO1 format will be removed for IEM Cologne 2024 and will be replaced by BO3 series.
The first round of the Play-In at IEM Cologne was set to have BO1s, which will now be switched to BO3s with ESL stating that they have taken in player and community feedback to make the decision.
IEM Cologne 2024 Play-In will take place on August 7, 2024 and August 8, 2024 with 16 teams taking part and the top 8 will move to the Group Stages which gets underway from August 10, 2024.
