True Rippers remain winless
The final game of Day 3 at the Skyesports Championship 2024 saw home team True Rippers take on the unbeaten Aurora in the Group A encounter.
deko's triple saw Aurora get Ancient going and True Rippers had no answer to the Russian team's attacks as Norwi and co. ran away to a 9-0 start before a double opener from DayMake saw True Ripper net their first round on the CT side. One round, though, was all True Rippers could manage on their defensive half. Aurora locked in both pistols on Ancient but Rossi and DayMake helped True Ripper lock in a second round with the upgraded pistols. The force buy win helped True Rippers secure a couple of rounds but the first half deficit was too big to overcome as Aurora eventually closed it out at 13-5.
The dominating win confirms a Playoffs spot for Aurora while it all but knocks the Indian team out of contention for the berth in Playoffs. True Rippers will play their final two games of the event tomorrow against PARIVISION and ENCE.
