Rare Atom breeze past Virtus.pro
Rare Atom kicked off their PGL Bucharest 2025 campaign in spectacular style, smashing the higher ranked Virtus.pro (VP) in straight maps to start their campaign with a big win.
The series kicked off on the Chinese team's pick of Mirage, where they ran away to a 10-0 start before Virtus.pro ended the half with two in a row. The second half pistol, on their T side would've given electroNic and co. some hope but a force buy win saw the Chinese team close out their pick at 13-3
Ancient saw Rare Atom start with a big CT half, picking up eight rounds in a row after losing the pistol and conversion to get things underway. A back-and-forth second half was eventually decided when Summer came in with a 1v5 against a sloppy VP retake that eventually saw Rare Atom run away with a 13-7 win.
