True Rippers rise to become India's best

Following their appearance at the Skyesports Championship 2024, True Rippers have moved up in the latest HLTV rankings update, becoming the #1 team in India, dislodging Gods Reign from the throne.

Gods Reign held the #1 rank in India for 19 straight weeks, having taken over the spot from 2EZ Gaming during the March 18, 2024 update. True Rippers have steadily held the second spot. With True Rippers ascending to the top spot, Gods Reign drops to the second place with Marcos Gaming and Carnival Gaming holding on to their #3 and #4 spots respectively. True Rippers are currently #119 in the world making a big jump from their previous ranking of #184.

True Rippers, who started the Skyesports Championship 2024 with a near-major upset, pushing The MongolZ to all rounds of regulation to eventually go down 11-13, also made BLEED work for their 13-10 win on Anubis. The early momentum didn't last long as they were comprehensively beaten by Auroa, ENCE and PARIVISION. True Rippers also makes moves in the Asian rankings, moving up five places to #10 in the Asian rankings. Gods Reign remain at #13 with Marcos Gaming at #17 and Carnival Gaming at #19.

The MongolZ, who were the runners up at the Skyesports Championship 2024, also moved up, making it to the top ten in the world, moving up two places to #10. 3DMAX, who won the Skyesports Championship 2024 were the biggest gainers, jumping 10 places from #29 to #19.
