f1redup powers Gods Reign to a crucial ECL win

Gods Reign goes 1-1 with The QUBE

It wasn't the ideal start for Gods Reign's ESL Challenger League Season 48 Asia campaign but the Indian team had picked themselves and started to lock in important wins in the recent few games. In their latest game, Bhavi and his boys went up against Mongolian team The QUBE, going head-to-head in two BO1s.

It was a big comeback from Bhavi and his boys in the opening BO1, as f1redup put his foot down to get the Indian team over the line. Taking place on Ancient, Gods Reign started with only three rounds in the opening half before a spirited comeback saw them head to overtime. A flawless overtime from the Indian squad saw them secure a 16-12 win as f1redup ended with 32 kills.

The second BO1 saw the action move to Inferno. It was Gods Reign on the backfoot once again although not as bad as Ancient, as they started with a two-round deficit. The Mongolian team made sure there was no scope of a comeback again from Gods Reign as they picked up a 13-8 win, to make sure they left the latest round of games with one win at least.
