Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Asia RMR Closed Qualifier Schedule
With the eight teams being confirmed to the Asia RMR Closed Qualifier, the schedule for the tournament has been revealed as we have the opening round of games announced. The tournament will follow a double elimination bracket, being held between Aug 28 - Aug 30,2024 with the winner of the Closed Qualifier moving onto the Asia RMR.
Out of the eight teams, two of the teams are Indian, Gods Reign and True Rippers, who were the first two teams booking their place in the RMR Closed Qualifier as a result of getting direct invites due to their Valve rankings. The opening round of games and the upper bracket semi-finals will be BO1s while all the other games will be BO3.
Gods Reign will take on ONi, the Philippines team who denied Victores Sumus a place in the RMR Closed Qualifier, in the upper bracket quarter-final. Gods Reign have recently revealed that they will have former-True Rippers member Mcg!LLzZz standing in for them in place of the Valve-banned R2B2.

True Rippers meanwhile will take on Niory Esports, the other team in the closed qualifier, with Indian players. Niory, who are a mixed Indo-Russian, have N1kace and BuNTz playing for them and made their way through the Open Qualifiers. True Rippers meanwhile will also have a new lineup at the RMR Closed Qualifiers, with their new signing crunchy set to debut for DEFAULTER and his boys.

BnTeT's Alter Ego take on DEWA United, while the two Kyrgyzstani teams, Revenge and Forward will go up against each other in the other quarter-final.
