forsaken's 9-year old VAC lecture surfaces

The post was found on a Facebook community

Yesterday, the 19th of September 2024 marked five years from the notorious forsaken incident at eXTREMESLAND 2018 and forsaken's five-year ban handed out by Valve also expired on the same day. However, just hours after the ban was lifted, an old Facebook post from Forsaken resurfaced, and it couldn’t have been more ironic.

Taking to X, Dust2 India's Sapporo posted a screenshot of forsaken's write-up in the "Counter-Strike India" Community on Facebook. He starts his post in a sassy tone on how one can defend themselves from a "VACation to KQLYofornia". forsaken mentioned that he would always connect his laptop to the cafe's PC before logging in to detect viruses or existing cheat softwares.

However, three years down the line in 2018, forsaken himself was caught at the other end of the stick at eXTREMESLAND 2018, where an admin traced and exposed his cheat software on LAN in front of a live audience. This incident put a massive dent in the Indian Counter-Strike scene and it's growth from which the scene is still recovering to this day.

Following the incident, forsaken expressed his remorse in an interview with AFK Gaming, soon after which he went radio silent across all his socials.
