Gods Reign wins GG LEAGUE Pro Series Qualifier 1

It was Pakistan's WahWah who set up a date with Gods Reign in the Grand Final of the GG LEAGUE Pro Series Qualifier 1 with both teams already having booked their spots in the GG LEAGUE Pro Series Playoffs, there was still $750 prize pool up for grabs.

Gods Reign kicked things off on WahWah's pick of Mirage with the defensive pistol and stormed to a 4-0 lead before the Pakistani team fought back to keep it at a tied opening half. Gods Reign locked in both pistols and with Ph1NNN and f1redup leading from the front in the fragging department, Gods Reign ran away to a 13-8 win with Ph1NNN topping the scoreboard with 20 kills while reV3nnnn's AWP made crucial impact late on Mirage.

On their own pick of Ancient, WahWah stole the pistol, starting on the CT side but f1redup and R2B2 converted a 2v3 on the force buy which helped them run away with the half, locking in nine T rounds. It was R2B2 and f1redup bringing the fight to the Pakistani team as Gods Reign eased to a 13-6 win to take the series 2-0.

Gods Reign's win sees them qualify to the GG LEAGUE Pro Series Playoffs as the first place team from the Qualifier 1 while WahWah have also qualified, despite their Grand Final loss. Gods Reign also nets a prize money of $500, while WahWah takes home $250 for the top two finish in the first qualifier.
