Report: Gods Reign set to sign Rossi

In a breaking development, Dust2 India has confirmed with sources close to the matter that India's #1 Counter-Strike team is set to acquire the services of True Rippers' captain Rossi, who will be joining the team in place of reV3nnnnn.

It is learnt that reV3nnnn is being replaced due to 'performance issues' and with Rossi joining the team, it will mean that f1redup will pick up the Big Green again, after shifting to a rifle role to accommodate both himself and reV3nnnn into the Gods Reign team.

Dust2 India reached out to a Gods Reign team member for their statement on signing Rossi but they declined to comment.

Rossi is one of the most experienced players in the Indian scene right now, having started his Counter-Strike journey back in 2014 at the age of 16. Rossi joined his first professional team in 2019, with Wings, before moving to BL4ZE. After a short break from the game, Rossi returned to a professional team, joining Medal Esports, for the Skyesports Masters 2023. While the results with Medal Esports weren't what he wanted, he was back amongst the thick of things and since then has had stints with Marcos Gaming and most recently True Rippers, where he took up the role of in-game leader just before the Shanghai Major 2024 Asia RMR Closed Qualifier.

For reV3nnnn, there are limited options for the AWPer in India. True Rippers have recently signed Malaysian player Anasasis on the Big Green, and there don't seem to be a lot of options for him. One option, though, for him is to reunite with his former captain Crazy_Gamer, who has been grinding out and has put together a new roster with the Carnival Gaming core, named Xtreme5. Xtreme5 recently finished runner up in the Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters 15.
