The MongolZ makes a statement start to the Major
The MongolZ storm into the 1-0 bracket
The MongolZ has cruised past Rare Atom in the opening round of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 and will now play in the 1-0 bracket.
Interestingly, to kick off the Bo1, The MongolZ elected to play on Anubis, a map where they boast a 56% win rate by banning Inferno, where they have a 71% win rate across 7 maps.
However, all skeptics were silenced, after a bloodbath of a T-side from them, with both 910 and mzinho firing on all cylinders, as The MongolZ established a 10-2 lead. Without facing much resistance, they closed out the match with a prevailing 13-2 win.
