The Huns take down Chinggis Warriors
The opening round of the MESA Asia Series 2024 Final saw Chinggis Warriors take on The Huns in a bo1. The bo1 was played on Inferno where The Huns won the pistol round on their CT-side but fumbled the anti-eco, giving Chinggis Warriors the room to run away with an early lead which they converted into a 9-3 half in their favor.
Veccil and cobra's consequent multi-kill rounds early in the second half, saw The Huns taking the pistol round and converting a couple of rounds after that. Chinggis Warriors struggled on the CT-side as The Huns closed the gap at 11-11, eventually closing out inferno 13-11 after mounting a spectacular comeback from 3-9.
A 2.15 rating T-side performance with an ADR of 125.8 from nin9 lead the charge for The Huns' comeback in the second half. The Huns will face Rare Atom in the upper semi final and Chinggis Warriors head down to the lower bracket.
