Spirit receives Shanghai Major in-game trophy

CS2 News took to X, showing a screenshot of donk flexing his Perfect World Shanghai 2024 Major in-game trophy on Telegram. donk was vital part in Spirit's monumental run at the Shanghai Major, he was also awarded with an HLTV MVP at the end of the tournament. The cherry on top was that donk even finished 2024 as HLTV's #1 ranked CS2 player.

The trophy followed the same design as the previous Major- PGL Copenhagen 2024 Major which was Counter-Strike 2's first ever Major. The Copenhagen Major champions- NAVI received their trophy after nearly four months from their winning date (115 days).

Valve announcing an update before hand and then deploying it on time with said content, followed by Spirit receiving their Major in-game trophy significantly faster than the previous Major winner might be an indication that Valve's Counter-Strike 2 devs are now fully locked-in.
