Skyesports Masters 2025 allowed to reduce prize pool by Valve
Valve allows exceptions for Skyesports Masters
The editor-in-chief of HLTV, Striker, revealed in a post on X that Valve has introduced certain exceptions to its official tournament list. These exceptions, which deviate from Valve's standard tournament rules, were informed by the TOs and approved by Valve.
Among the exceptions, Skyesports Masters 2025 was noted for the following adjustments:

May reduce previously announced prize pool.

May adjust tournament format with shorter timeframe than required for Tier 1 events.
Skyesports Masters 2025 was announced as part of Skyesports' 2025 roadmap with an outrageous $500k prize pool in India. It is set to run from 26th May to 1st June.
