ATOX qualifies for BLAST Open Lisbon 2025
The Grand Final of the BLAST Rising Asia Spring 2025 saw ATOX take on The Huns in a Mongolian derby with ATOX running through their compatriots in a dominant manner to make their way to BLAST Open Lisbon 2025.
The Huns' pick of Nuke kicked off with ATOX's CT side shutting things down and a 9-3 half saw them close out the map with a flawless T side to lock in a 13-3 win. The Huns started Inferno with a 7-1 lead on their defensive side before late impact from dobu and Zesta saw ATOX claw back the half to keep it at a two-round deficit. Following impact from dobu in the pistol again, ATOX quickly tied up the score. dobu and kabal's Banana shut down saw ATOX close out the Grand Final in two maps as they picked up a 13-9 win on Inferno to close the series 2-0.
By winning the BLAST Rising Asia Spring 2025, ATOX qualify for BLAST Open Lisbon 2025, which will take place between March 19 - March 30, 2025 with a prize pool of $400,000. ATOX also become the second Asia team in the event, after The MongolZ were already invited to the main event, making both of the Asian representatives from Mongolia.
