MESA Asian Masters 2025 Asia Closed Qualifier: Preview

The Asian Qualifiers of MESA Asian Masters 2025, which will serve as a pathway to PGL Bucharest 2025, kicks off this morning. Amongst a total of 8 participating teams, two will qualify for the LAN event that will take place at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The Closed Qualifier will feature a double elimination bracket in a Bo3 format. The Closed Qualifier kicks off from February 24 at 7:30 AM IST and will run for four days, concluding on February 27th. The top 2 teams will make their way to the MESA Asia Masters 2025, which serves as a direct qualifier for the PGL Bucharest 2025.

The 8 teams invited to the closed qualifiers include Mongolian heavyweights such as ATOX, The Huns, Eruption, Chinggis Warriors, NomadS, The QUBE. The Indian team Gods Reign has also secured an invite, along with Russian team HOTU, who made it through the Open Qualifier. Gods Reign, have received a direct invite to the Closed Qualifier thanks to their VRS rankings and the Indian team will face Mongolian squad NomadS in their opening game.
