
Vitality continue stellar record breaking run to win BLAST Premier Open Lisbon 2025
Vitality continued to re-write the history books at they extended their incredible win streak, extending it to 16 matches in a row, as they took down a valiant MOUZ in the final of the BLAST Premier Open Lisbon 2025, which went down to the wire, witnessing all five maps. apEX's boys also continued their incredible start to the year, making it three consecutive title wins. It was also Vitality's newest signing, ropz's first BLAST trophy, after missing out multiple times previously with his former teams.
The Grand Final started in quite the spectacular fashion as Vitality's pick of Inferno saw a couple of close clutches go Vitality's way before Vitality ran away with a map, winning in an incredibly dominant manner to go 13-0. After a humiliating hammering, MOUZ showed resilience to fight back on their pick of Mirage, despite starting with a two round deficit in the opening half. A strong T side, with Spinx stepping up saw MOUZ answer back with a 13-11 win. Dust2 was another back and forth affair which needed another strong T side from MOUZ seeing them steal a 13-11 win to take the series lead 2-1.
With their backs against the wall, ZywOo stepped up on Nuke to power Vitality to a commanding 13-7 win to tie up the series before a stellar CT half on the decider on Train saw them lock in the Grand Final, closing out the decider 13-7 to take the trophy after a 3-2 win.
