3DMAX terminate CSGOEmpire partnership

The French received backlash on X

French Counter-Strike organization 3DMAX has announced the termination of their partnership with betting platform CSGOEmpire, following significant backlash from the community. The decision comes amid growing concerns about CSGOEmpire's business practices and public conduct.

CSGOEmpire has been involved in several controversies, most notably the incident at the Paris Major in 2023, when the company's CEO made the headlines for all the wrong reasons as his associates invaded the stage and damaged the tournament trophy. This incident was part of a broader pattern of behavior that has raised questions about the betting platform's conduct and intent.

3DMAX announced the partnership termination through a statement on X. The organization explained that while the partnership was initially a "strategic economic decision," they "unequivocally reject their (CSGOEmpire's) communication practices and values."

The French team emphasized that after CSGOEmpire's CEO's actions violated their principles, they ended the agreement with immediate effect. 3DMAX also took the opportunity to reinforce their stance against "harassment, discrimination, and disrespect in all forms."

Looking ahead, 3DMAX indicated that new sponsorships would be announced soon, describing the upcoming year as potentially their "strongest yet" as they work to secure their long-term future in CS2.
