Vitality and The MongolZ sail into EPL S21 semi-finals
The second round of quarter-finals games saw Vitality take down Liquid in their matchup while The MongolZ shut down inaugural CS2 Major champions Natus Vincere (NAVI) to make the semi-finals of ESL Pro League Season 21.
Vitality started the day against Liquid in the third quarter-final with Liquid's pick of Anubis getting things going. A couple of low buy round wins made sure Vitality held a two-round advantage before a stellar defensive hold on one of the most T-sided maps saw Vitality ease to a 13-9 win. Dust2 saw ropz and ZywOo power Vitality into the lead again and it was mezii with his holds that sealed another 13-9 score which saw Vitality lock in a comfortable 2-0.
910 and Techno made sure The MongolZ started NAVI's pick of Mirage with a two-round lead on their defensive half before a near-flawless T side saw The MongolZ ease to a 13-6 win. Ancient was the mzinho show as the youngster's 17-kill half power the Asian squad to a 9-3 lead on their pick and it was a formality after that as they closed the series with a dominating 13-6 win to go 2-0 and move into the semi-finals.

The semi-finals will take place tonight, with Spirit taking on MOUZ in the first semi-final at 20:15 IST while The MongolZ will battle for a place in the Final against red-hot Vitality at 23:00 IST.
