Gods Reign crumble in front of Lynn Vision
After picking up a big 2-0 over THE the day before, Gods Reign were dropped back to reality as the Indian team went down to Lynn Vision in their first BO1 against the Chinese team at the ESL Challenger League Season 49 Asia-Pacific.
Anubis saw Gods Reign's T-side unable to hold up against z4kr and co.'s defensive hold as Lynn Vision ran away to a 6-0 lead before a clean B hit saw Gods Reign get on the board. Lynn Vision hit back and was looking to hit double digits on their CT half before a R2B2 1v3 in the final round of the half saw Gods Reign end with three T rounds.
Westmelon and Starry made sure Lynn Vision locked in both pistols on Anubis but a sneaky lurk in middle by Bhavi saw Rossi deny Starry a 1v2 to hit back with the force. The force buy win saw Gods Reign string together a couple of CT rounds but once Lynn Vision got a full buy out, the Chinese team closed Anubis at 13-6 to secure the first BO1 win.
