NAVI heads to Lisbon over The MongolZ
Natus Vincere (NAVI) held on against a spirited comeback attempt from The MongolZ, to secure a place in Lisbon for the Playoffs of BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 after a lop-sided start to their Group B upper bracket semi-final series.
NAVI's two youngsters, b1t and w0nderful powered their team to a 10-2 start on T side of Dust2, which set them up for a 13-7 win, holding on against a spirited T side from the Asian squad. After being hit hard in the opening map, Senzu and Techno's B shutdowns on Inferno saw The MongolZ answer back in style, dropping just a solitary CT round before wrapping it up on their pick at 13-1 to tie up the series.

Mirage was the first map of the series which kicked off in a competitive manner with a trade of rounds. NAVI had the chance to end the half with a lead but Senzu's Deagle made sure The MongolZ kept it a tied half. After a back-and-forth start to the final half, it was Senzu and bLitz putting The MongolZ match point but a jL quad kill saw NAVI push the map to overtime. NAVI made sure to not push the game any further as they closed the series with a 16-13 win on Mirage to take the series.
The win sees NAVI through to the Playoffs in Lisbon while The MongolZ drop to the lower-bracket, and they will battle for survival now against Team Liquid.
