TYLOO clears MESA Nomadic Masters Chinese qualifier

The Chinese qualifier for the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 has come to an end and it's TYLOO who'll be heading to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for the main event. Here's a quick recap of how the Chinese qualifier went down.

TYLOO met Nalakuvara in the semi-finals and on the other side of the bracket, Shika took on Unsettled Resentment.

TYLOO vs Nalakuvara

TYLOO's opening game against Nalakuvara was a one-sided affair with TYLOO dropping just seven rounds across the entire series. TYLOO put up comfortable 13-3 and 13-4 wins on Mirage and Anubis with three of their players- Moseyuh, Jee and Attacker posting 30+ frags across the series with HLTV ratings of 1.70, 1.59 and 1.51 respectively.

Shika vs Unsettled Resentment

Shika's game against Unsettled Resentment in the opening round went the distance, spanning all three maps. Shika put up an impressive 10-2 T-side half on their their pick- Ancient and ended up closing out the map 13-3. Unsettled Resentment returned the favor on their pick- Dust2. A dominant 9-3 T-half followed by a flawless 4-0 CT-side netted Unsettled Resentment a 13-3 win on Dust2.

The decider was Mirage where Shika found their footing on the CT-side, pushing Unsettled Resentment down to a 4-8 disadvantage. Unsettled Resentment could secure just a single round in the second half, giving Shika a 13-5 win. With this Shika wrapped the series 2-1 setting up their grand-final clash with TYLOO.

TYLOO vs Shika

The grand-final started on Nuke with Shika displaying dominance on the CT-side as TYLOO ended up with a 4-8 disadvantage at half-time. Pistol and anti-eco wins in the second half propelled TYLOO to a CT-side comeback, tying the score at 11-11. However, they fell at the last step as Shika snatched a narrow 13-11 win on Nuke.

Mercury's 2.19 rating CT-side fetched TYLOO an 8-4 lead on Ancient after which they took the map away from Shika, dropping just three rounds on the CT-side to close out Ancient 13-7 and tie the series at 1-1, pushing it into the decider.

A classic Inferno-decider saw TYLOO start on the CT-side and slide a massive 9-3 half in their favor. Shika strung up three rounds on the CT-side before TYLOO regained momentum and closed the map 13-6, taking the grand-final 2-1. With this win TYLOO confirm their MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 appearance in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
