BLAST Rivals opening matches revealed
The inaugural season of BLAST Rivals is set to begin next week. BLAST have revealed the groups and opening matchups for the event. Eight teams are split into groups of four each, where double-elimination brackets decide who makes the playoffs.
Top two teams from each group make it to the single-elimination bracket playoffs that concludes with a bo5 grand-final. In group A, Vitality will kick things off against Wildcard and MOUZ takes on paIN on the other side of the bracket.
Spirit will take on the Aussies, FlyQuest in group B's opening game which follows up with an exciting FaZe-Falcons clash. All games are bo3s from the get-go. BLAST Rivals Season 1 will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark and will carry a prize pool of $350,000 USD.
