Apeks run down Into the Breach
Into the Breach where no match for Apeks in their opening best-of-one Legends Stage match, as Apeks hammered Into the Breach 16-10 on Mirage.
The action kicked off on Mirage with the British team starting on the defensive side. Apeks took the pistol around as nawwk and STYKO won out a 2v2 on the B site. After converting the force buy and eco round, Apeks turned around a 2v3 on the B site to go 4-0 up. nawwk's 1v1 AWP clutch against CRUC1AL saw Apeks go 6-0 up as the British team were not only struggling to keep up with Apeks but also with their economy. It was on the eighth round that Into the Breach got their first round on the CT half. One brought two as the British team put two together to get to 2-7. A jkaem quad kill saw Apeks convert a 3v5 to secure their tenth round. Apeks ended the half, converting a 2v4 on the A site to take a 12-3 lead.
The second half pistol went Apeks' way as they continued their dominating run. Apeks managed to convert the following eco buy to get to 14 but Into the Breach managed to put together three rounds in a row to get to 14-6 before volt came in with a 1v3 to give the British team their seventh round. A couple of rounds from Into the Breach saw them get up to double digits but ten was all the British team could manage as Apeks closed out the map at 16-10 on the back of a force buy in the final round.
