7Sea Esports head into the finals of the TEC Arena Connect Pune event

7Sea Esports ease past D5 in the semi-finals

7Sea Esports became the first team in the TEC Arena Connect, Pune event, to book their Grand Finals spot after they hammered Destructive 5 (D5) 16-4 in their best-of-one semi-final. It was complete domination from 7Sea, as they had dominant map control throughout their CT side and after a 12-3 opening half. it didn't take 7Sea too long to close the game.

The first semi-final was a best-of-one match which got underway on Nuke.

7Sea Esports started on the CT side to kick things off and DiceDealer's triple on the pistol gave 7Sea the opening pistol. A double from DiceDealer and CycloneF gave 7Sea the second round against D5's force buy before converting against the pistols to go 3-0 up. A double from JuveNN in the first gun round saw D5 put up their first T round as Em0 clutched out a 1v1 against DiceDealer. After taking two in a row, 7Sea bounced back with a low buy as Bhavi's double saw them secure their fourth. DiceDealer's double from ramp saw 7Sea put up their fifth bouncing right back, after two from D5.

CycloneF's triple in round ten saw 7Sea win out the half, early at 8-2. D5's third round came off the back of a quick A hit and with JuveNN's triple, which helped them secure the round. Three was all D5 could manage though, as a complete team performance that led to a clinical defensive hold from 7Sea, and saw them end the first half with a 12-3 lead, as they shut down almost every D5 attack with relative ease.

The second pistol was all PeXXeR, as he came in with a quad kill, including a knife kill and a 1v1 against CycloneF, which helped D5 take a much needed fourth round. 7Sea bounced right back with a force buy with yet another impactful round coming in from DiceDealer. It wasn't long after that before 7Sea wrapped up the game, securing the spot in the Grand Finals, after breezing past D5 16-4. It was CycloneF who was on top of the scoreboard with 24 kills.
