Astralis breeze past Complexity
Astralis made sure they weren't heading to the Fall Showdown just yet as they hammered Complexity 2-0, taking down their opponents with relative ease on both the maps.
First up was the Danes' pick of Vertigo with Complexity starting on the CT side and back-to-back floppy triples gave Complexity the early advantage. b0RUP's triple in round four gave Astralis their first round. Complexity put up a strong defensive hold and a hallzerk 1v2 saw Complexity secure their seventh. A device triple helped Astralis put up their third and couple of crucial rounds from b0RUP saw the Danes end the first half with a 8-7 lead.
Another impactful multi-kill round from floppy saw Complexity pick up the second pistol to tie up the game. Four in a row from Complexity saw them lead 11-8 before Astralis got their first defensive round. A crucial device double put the Danes on double digits and they tied the game at 11-11 after getting three in a row. A double Buzz opener gave Astralis their 14th and device came in a with triple to put the Danes on map point. It was Astralis' star AWPer who closed the map for his team with another multi-kill round that saw Astralis pick up Vertigo at 16-12. device led from the front with 27 kills on Vertigo with the Danish AWPer having a stellar show on the CT half.
Complexity's pick was Overpass and it was the Danes on the CT side that got an early 10-0 start as Complexity had no answer to Astralis' defence. Complexity's first round came on the back of converting a 3v5 but it was an astounding 12-3 lead for Astralis to end the first half.
An EliGE double helped Complexity pick up the second pistol but that was all as Astralis picked up the map at 16-4 and took the series 2-0. It was the man at the helm of Astralis, blameF on top of the scoreboard for Astralis on Overpass with 27 kills.
