MG faced a sluggish start to their CT campaign on their chosen map, Inferno, as they conceded the initial three rounds to RE's explosive and aggressive plays. Gh0sTTTT managed to put them on the scoreboard by denying gump's ambitious 1v3 clutch attempt. Despite this, Gump struck back in the subsequent round, pulling off an impressive 1v3 of his own, completely breaking Marcos' economy. Trailing 5-1, Marcos staged an exceptional comeback and concluded the half with 9 rounds to their credit.
The second half witnessed a relentless onslaught from MG as DEFAULTER, Mcg1LLzZz, and Rider took charge of the server, skillfully dominating RE. With no resistance offered by RE on the defense, MG closed the game shortly, with a resounding victory of 16-10.
MG carried their momentum forward to Ancient, as they continued their onslaught on their T-side. The trio of DEFAULTER, Mcg1LLzZz, and Rider was overwhelming the defenses of RE, as they failed to get anything going on their CT side. The well-orchestrated rounds, combined with efficient spacing, allowing responsive trades, saw MG take a huge lead of 11-4 going into the second half.
In the second half, the pistol win from MG was answered right back with a force-buy victory of RE. It allowed RE to gain some crucial momentum and string together 3 rounds, however, when the guns rolled again for MG, they broke their streak and took the score to 13-7. But SKwow wasn't about to let MG run away with the game. He got three remarkable opening kills on the A site, putting RE right back on the board. RE's resurgence lasted a few rounds, but MG's well-coordinated retakes saw them seal the map 16-10.
