Gods Reign tear through Velocity Gaming

Starting off on the CT-side of Inferno, Velocity Gaming won the pistol round but Gods Reign managed to steal the anti-eco and showed no signs of stopping as they built a massive 9-1 lead for themselves. Velocity Gaming had no answers to Gods Reign's T-side and conceded a 3-12 first half.

Velocity Gaming won the pistol round and converted the anti-eco to start off the second half, Unfortunately, Velocity Gaming could only secure a single round after that, as Gods Reign's CT-side took shape once the gun rounds began, closing out the map 16-6 and going 1-0 up in the series.

Gods Reign got off to a strong start on Mirage, going 5-0 on the CT-side. It was a repeat of the first map's first half but this time Velocity Gaming just could not crack the code to Gods Reign's CT-defence, as they were denied map control and information round after round, making it very hard to move around the map. Gods Reign read almost everything that Velocity Gaming tried and had a counter ready to go.

Velocity Gaming managed to claw back 4 rounds to start off the second half but again, Gods Reign completely shut down Velocity Gaming once the gun rounds began, sprinting to match point at 15-7, immediately converting it to close out Mirage 16-7 and the series 2-0.

After this win Gods Reign ascend to #2 on the points table with 8 wins from 11 matches and are strong contenders to finish in the top 4. Velocity Gaming on the other hand, have just a single win in the entire tournament with just 2 matches remaining in their campaign, lurking at the bottom of the table.
