MOUZ sweep Heroic at EPL
A dominant performance from MOUZ as they take down the ever consistent Heroic in a clean 2-0 series. The loss to MIBR may have been rough but now they look poised to make the playoffs run as they go up against MIBR for qualification.
MOUZ's attack on Mirage got off to a great start with entry-fragger xertioN finding key frags to crack open sites. Once Heroic found some semblance of control over the economy, they were able to bring out the double-awp setup between cadiaN and stavn to build a solid defensive score. The half closed out 7-8 favoring the MOUZ side.
The second half however was a completely different story as Heroic's attack fell completely flat. torzsi and jimpphat were fragging out on the defence and nobody on Heroic was able to put up any fight as MOUZ won the map 16-8.
Moving over to Nuke, MOUZ continued that defensive roll. Starting off with the pistol win and denying Heroic from picking up back to back rounds for most of the half set them up for a 9-6 scoreline. Heroic finding the second pistol was absolutely crucial as they got 3 rounds in a row. But once the guns came out for MOUZ it was game over for Heroic and the international squad eased their way to victory, locking in the MIBR rematch for playoffs.
