dev1ce extends Astralis contract

Star AWPer to stick around till 2026

Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz has signed a partnership extension with Astralis, which will see the Danish star stay with Astralis until the end of 2026.

The Danish AWPer made his professional debut in 2013 and wore the Astralis jersey for the first time in 2016. Since becoming an Astralis player, dev1ce has written himself into the record books as him, along with his Astralis teammates, won 4 Major titles in the CS:GO era, the most for any team. dev1ce himself has been a beacon of consistency, which has cemented his place amongst the greats of the game.

dev1ce parted ways with Astralis in 2021, joining Ninjas in Pyjamas for a short stint before returning to Astralis in 2022. With his new contract extension, his Astralis chapter is all set for a new story in the CS2 era.

"I've said it before, but Astralis is my team, and I will do everything to get us back to where I feel we belong. There's a lot going on in the CS world right now, but for me it's about us thinking long-term and continuing what we've started. That is why I am extra happy about the extension, which shows how much both parties really want this.
