Valve addresses AMD Anti-Lag VAC issue

Valve shipped a small update addressing an issue where AMD GPU users were handed VAC bans for using AMD's Anti-Lag+ feature. After this update, the game will now check for incompatible AMD drivers when the game is opened.

Valve has also mentioned that the VAC bans caused by this driver issue will be reversed. A windows 11 auto HDR bug that made smokes disappear has also been fixed.

Here are Valve's release notes for the update:

• Added a startup check for incompatible AMD graphics drivers. We will now begin reversing VAC bans for affected players

• Fixed a bug in Windows 11 Auto HDR that led to smokes intermittently disappearing

• Miscellaneous bug fixes
