Revenant go down fighting

After making their way through the GCC qualifier 4, Revenant went up against RGW Esports in their Regional Finals Round 1 game, with BENZENE standing in for Revenant.

The opening map of the series was Ancient and it was Revenant starting on the CT side. A tied first half saw the score at 6-6 but RGW came in with a strong defensive half of their own which saw them close the map at 13-9 to go 1-0 up.

Anubis was the second map of the series as the Indian team started on the T side. It was RGW though with a solid start at 8-4 on their CT side to kick things off. While Revenant fought back heroically on their CT side, RGW managed to close it out in overtime at 16-12.

With their 2-0 win over Revenant, RGW will now face the only remaining Indian team in Gods Reign in their Round 2 match tomorrow (Nov 19, 2023) at 17:30 IST.
