Enigma Gaming turns it around against Revenant
Following a week of intense action in the Esportz Premier Series 2023 Qualifier 2, it was finally time for the Grand Final as Enigma Gaming were going up against Revenant as the teams were looking to win the INR 1 lakh prize pool and also book their spot in the LAN final against Gods Reign, who had booked their place after winning Qualifier 1. Nox was standing in for Revenant as ELV1S was unavailable for the BO5 Grand Final.
The opening map of the series was Enigma's pick of Ancient. Enigma got things underway with the opening pistol on their CT side but Revenant answered with the force which helped them to take a 7-5 lead. R2B2's aggressive play with the Dualies saw Revenant secure the second pistol and didn't waste much time to win the map at 13-9.
Revenant kicked off their pick of Mirage with a pistol win on the T side and were looking to run away with the half when they went up 6-3 but Enigma bounced back to tie up the first half at 6-6. Enigma started with the second pistol and it was a clean T side from SpawN and co. as they secured Mirage 13-7.

After running through Revenant on their opponent's map pick, Enigma started their second pick of Overpass with a pistol win on the T side. It was Enigma eventually taking a slight lead at 7-5.
Revenant tied the game after taking the second pistol and converting against the eco. It was a tight second half as Revenant put up a commendable T side but it was Enigma edging them out at 13-9 and went 2-1 up in the series.
Inferno started with Enigma taking the CT-sided pistol to start with but Revenant fought back. It was a back-and-forth half which ended with a 7-5 score in favor of Enigma. While Enigma got the second pistol, as well as the force, buy to kick off their T-side, we saw Revenant once again persist in the buy round.
Despite a close brawl, as the scores were tied at 10-10 and once again at 11-11, it was rev3nnnn who stepped up for Revenant. His 28 kills proved to be the difference maker, as Revenant snatched victory on Inferno with a 13-11 score-line.
As the game progressed to Nuke, Revenant kicked off their T-side by securing the initial two rounds. However, once the game progressed to the buy rounds, it was Enigma Gaming that asserted dominance. With hattyg0D wielding the secondary AWP, they managed to secure 8 rounds on their CT side.
Onto the T-side, Enigma Gaming carried over their momentum from the first half. After winning the pistol and the force buy round, they even secured the first buy round to extend their lead. With Catasr0phE leading the charts with 19 kills, Enigma managed to shut down Revenant with a score of 13-7 on the final map.
By securing Nuke, Enigma pipped Revenant 3-2 the BO5 Grand Final to secure their place in the LAN finals against Gods Reign, details of which will be revealed soon.
In the third place decider match between ROG Academy and Marcos Gaming, it was ROG who secured third place in Qualifier 2 after Marcos forfeited the game.
