karrigan's risk costs FaZe the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023
The Grand Final of the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023 saw CS2's best team FaZe go up against Vitality, with the Paris Major champions looking to break FaZe's incredible CS2 LAN win-streak and pick up their first CS2 silverware.
FaZe let through Vertigo in the veto and apEX picked that as Vitality's pick, which was the series opener. Vertigo isn't the most comfortable map for FaZe and Vitality made karrigan and co. pay for letting it through as they started with a 9-3 lead on the T side with flameZ starting hot. It was flawless on their CT side as Vitality closed it out at 13-3 to draw first blood in the final.
FaZe's pick was Nuke as they started with a two round lead at 7-5 but Vitality securing the second pistol and conversion after that quickly tied up the score. It was a back and forth half but on the being on the brink, with one hero AK-47 and Glocks, Vitality stole away championship point and then went on to win the map at 13-11.
Not only is this Vitality's first ever CS2 trophy but also an important one for the team, with the new roster, especially after zonic and Magisk left.
