TheMongolz and Tyloo through to ESL Pro League 19
Following their impressive performances in ESL Challenger League Season 46 Asia-Pacific, both Tyloo and TheMongolz have solidified their participation in ESL Pro League Season 19.
TheMongolz faced initial setbacks in the tournament, losing to the #114th ranked team NewHappy 1-2 in the Upper Bracket Playoffs. However, they gained their ground back by defeating FyR, GR, and a redemption win against NewHappy leading to a matchup against Lynn Vision in the Consolidation Final. Conquering the current top-ranked team in Asia, they secured a place in the Grand Final against Tyloo, solidifying their spot in ESL Pro League Season 19.
On the other hand, Tyloo had a smoother journey to the Grand Final, triumphing over both NewHappy and Lynn Vision with 2-1 victories. However, in the BO5 Grand Final, they narrowly lost to TheMongolz 3-2, claiming a prize of $15,000. Nevertheless, Tyloo secured an $8,000 prize and clinched a berth in ESL Pro League Season 19.
The event is set to commence on April 23 in Malta and will feature a prize pool of $750,000.
