TheMongolz end Complexity's Atlanta dreams
The Group A decider match of the ESL Challenger Atlanta 2023 was a rematch of the opening day's game between TheMongolz and Complexity.
The BO3 series got underway on TheMongolz's pick of Inferno and it was a near-flawless half from TheMongolz as they ended with a 11-1 half and while Complexity managed to take the second pistol on their CT side, TheMongolz didn't waste much time to close it out at 13-3 with Senzu having a stellar performance with 22 kills.
TheMongolz stole away the pistol on the CT side on Complexity's pick of Overpass but the JT and co, answered back with the force buy. A back-and-forth half saw TheMongolz end with three in a row to tie up the half at 6-6.
A mzinho quad-kill saw TheMonglz take a clean pistol in the second half and they dropped just two round in the second half to close it out at 13-8.
The win now puts TheMongolz in the semi-finals of ESL Challenger Atlanta 2023 and they will now take on VP.
